Reflections Upon Tap Experiences

I remember conference in 1970 and learning dance with the superb, talented Chuck Davis!  It was awesome fantastic and a memory I cherish.  I remember Lake Sing, Christmas in July and the day Farmer Brown's cows over-ran the camp!

I remember the young men of Tap '61 digging the holes, lifting railroad tires and inserting these heavy wooden (tires) into the ground that created seats for campers and staff on the baseball field and also was used for seating during Feather Tap Out. In addition, two 20 foot wooden poles with a sign was installed and this would be the entrance to the baseball field. We all suffered a lot of pain, joy, sweat but most importantly a sense of accomplishment. This was our Tap project, a project we could reflect on for years to come. There were many "hot" days that we were thirsty and tired but we were more "thirsty" to complete the job.Twelve young men who had a goal and a reflection that would stay with us forever.
